Company & NBFC deposits
Fixed Deposits
A fixed term, a stated rate, a known maturity date.
A fixed deposit is money placed with a bank, housing-finance company or non-banking financial company (NBFC) for a set period at a rate the issuer states when you book. We help you compare issuers, credit ratings, tenures and payout options, complete the paperwork, and track every deposit to maturity alongside the rest of your portfolio.

Fixed Deposits: how it works
Compare issuers
We put the current schemes side by side: issuer, credit rating, tenure, payout frequency and the rate each issuer has published for that combination, so the choice is made on the facts, not the brochure.
Book the deposit
KYC, the application form and the payment go directly to the issuer. The deposit is held in your name; Sanriya never holds your money.
Track to maturity
Every deposit sits in your portfolio view with its maturity date, so renewals and payouts are planned rather than discovered, and the interest is reported for your tax return.

Questions investors ask
A deposit placed for a fixed period with a company, housing-finance company or NBFC that is permitted to accept public deposits. The issuer states the rate for each tenure and payout option at the time of booking. It is not a bank deposit and is not covered by deposit insurance from the DICGC.
Resident individuals, Hindu Undivided Families, minors through a guardian, partnership firms, trusts, co-operative societies and companies. Non-resident Indians can invest where the issuer's scheme allows it, usually on a non-repatriable basis from an NRO account.
It depends on the issuer; most accept deposits from ₹10,000 and some set a higher minimum for particular schemes.
A cumulative deposit reinvests the interest and pays everything at maturity. A non-cumulative deposit pays interest out monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually, which suits anyone who needs a regular income from the money.
Each issuing company or bank publishes its own rate card by tenure, amount and payout frequency, and revises it from time to time. The rate that applies to your deposit is the one in force on the day it is booked and stays fixed for that deposit's term. Rates for new deposits can change at any time.
Interest on fixed deposits is taxable as income from other sources at your slab rate. Issuers deduct TDS above the threshold in the Income-tax Act; eligible depositors can submit Form 15G or 15H to avoid deduction. We can help with the forms, but please confirm your position with your chartered accountant or tax professional.
Risks and disclosures
Credit risk: a company or NBFC deposit depends on the issuer's ability to pay. It is not guaranteed by the Government of India or covered by DICGC insurance. Credit ratings indicate, but do not remove, this risk.
Liquidity: premature withdrawal is at the issuer's discretion, usually only after a lock-in and at a reduced rate. Money you may need before maturity should not be placed in a fixed deposit.
Reinvestment and inflation: a fixed rate can lag inflation over longer terms, and the rate available when a deposit matures may be lower than the one it earned.
Rates and terms are set by the issuing company or bank and are subject to change without notice. Nothing on this page is an offer of a particular rate.
Sanriya Finvest Pvt. Ltd. acts as a distributor of company and NBFC fixed deposits and receives brokerage from the issuer. Rates, tenures, payout options and eligibility are set by the issuing company or bank and are subject to change. Company and NBFC deposits carry credit risk, are not bank deposits and are not covered by DICGC deposit insurance. Please read the issuer's application form and terms before investing.
