What is the maximum amount that can be invested in a 54EC IRFC-REC-PFC Capital Gains Bond?

In a financial year, an individual is permitted to invest up to 500 bonds of Rs. 10,000/- each, which amounts to a total investment of Rs. 50,00,000/- (50 lakhs), in 54EC IRFC-REC-PFC Capital Gain Bonds. This limit is subject to the provisions of section 54EC of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
